Thank you to all who put their fire extinguishers out. Apparently we have 20 Units that have not been done. I will be receiving a list of those Units and we will reschedule Ron to come out to finish recertification. So 51 is good, but we should strive for 100% next year.
Great news, Chad, myself and Jamie met with Derrick, the Roofer. He has promised to complete those roofs with problems, and bring in a gutter guy to fix or repair all the gutter issues. We have agreed to get this accomplished within 30 days. This was a productive meeting.
The landscaping is moving along and our personnel are doing an excellent job. The REW landscaping crew are helping us with a weekly project. They were asked to focus on shaping and cleaning up the walled perimeter of the property. This week the crew started with the front entrance.
Alumiconns - we are still working on getting this project back on track. We are trying to meet all the insurance requirements and keep the pricing in the same ballpark. It is just temporarily on hold until everything can be confirmed. Hopefully we will have this moving shortly.
Yippie Skippie - we are moving on getting the pool furniture strapped. As we have 35 lounge chairs and 12 chairs, and every piece of furniture is getting all new straps it is going to take a couple of weeks, but we are pushing hard to get this job completed and the pools ready. Further we have an additional 6 chairs that require painting and strapping to make all the furniture match plus we will repair and paint the tables. The pools should POP with a new fresh look.
The website looks fabulous. It should go live by Monday. Try lakevillasaltamonte.com
Thank you Kevin Speedy. You did a marvelous job. The site functions very easily. If you have any suggestions or vendors you have used that you might recommend, reach out to Kevin so he can incorporate the information. kspeedy@gmail.com
Debbie Vaughn has hit the ground running and is tackling getting all authorized vehicles parking stickers. You will shortly hear from her via email. We are trying to bring every member into compliance by obtaining the year, make, model and tag number on your vehicle or vehicles. We will match that with your LVC sticker. If you do not have a sticker, please reach out to Debbie at debbie.anders.vaughn@gmail.com
She needs to get our parking information updated. She will be able to provide you with a parking sticker. Once we get all authorized vehicles with LVC stickers installed, then we will focus on towing unauthorized vehicles. Again, if you have vehicles that have not moved or do not have current tags, be prepared we will tow at the owner's expense.
Scott Schrager has assisted us in locating a distributor and obtaining paver information. As we move around the complex we will be fixing the pavers. Now would be a good time to reach out to me if you have an interest in putting pavers on your patios. Let me know so we can work on getting a list going so Chad and I can figure out the amount of pavers we need.
Thank you Graeme Clyne for your assistance in working with the personnel on removing unwanted landscaping debris. Also, thanks to Bobbie Cute as she makes a point of bringing water to the personnel, and for pitching in on helping remove unwanted landscaping plants, for those working to beautify Lake Villas.
