We have received a number of requests reflecting that many of us want to celebrate the season by helping others. As a result, we have reached out to find families in need where we can sponsor them as “Secret Santas.”
At this time we are soliciting families who want to participate. The goal is to have two or three families sponsor one in need. Such that this can be accomplished on a regulated basis, we request you contact Nancy Roman at nancyjroman@yahoo.com. She will coordinate the listing of our members who want to participate with me. We will coordinate through a local facility. The facility will give us age, gender, needs, etc. We will NEVER know who is the recipient family or individual.
In the past, we have found that the recipient families were single parent with a few minor children. They will give us sizes, likes/dislikes, etc.
Please contact Nancy no later than 5 PM 30-Nov such that we can get the ball rolling with the charity who will coordinate with us.
