Thank you to everyone who came to the board meeting last night! For those of you who couldn’t make it, here are a few updates:
• Top Notch is accepting payments online or by check. There are no late fees for January.
• Collection for the $250,000 special assessment will begin on February 1st. We will resend the document that breaks down the assessment cost per unit over six months.
• Payments are considered late on the 10th and will incur a late fee of $25 (starting in February).
• Please continue submitting maintenance requests, event requests, and other questions to the Top Notch portal (excluding requests for exterior siding repair/replacement -- we have this on a separate list with our SIRS report).
• Our events committee will provide updated event requirements at our next meeting. There will potentially be an increased fee for renting the clubhouse.
• A deposit has been submitted to Hartman & Sons to begin work on the stairs at 652, 144, and 670 for code enforcement compliance.
• The board voted on hiring Martell & Ozim to represent Lake Villas as our new attorneys. One priority is for them to assist in collecting delinquent assessments.
• We are seeking additional bids on project 186 and will update accordingly.
• Approved minutes and updated contact information are available on the Lake Villas website.
• Please consider signing up for a committee!
Finally, see the attached PDF for Graeme’s financial update presentation. This includes a brief update on maintenance and SIRS items as well.
Our next board meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Your Lake Villas Board
